Sherwin Williams Pewter Green vs. Sherwin Williams Retreat

Sherwin Williams Pewter Green and Retreat are both really beautiful moody greens and if you’re searching for a “moody green” paint color on Google, there’s a good chance that both colors will pop up as possibilities. In fact, they are on the same paint card. Sherwin Williams Retreat is just one above Pewter Green. There are some differences in the paint colors but Retreat is a nice alternative. The LRV of Retreat is 21 while Pewter Green is 12. Although Retreat is slightly lighter, it’s still a nice dark green paint color and compared to each other in a space, it can be hard to tell the difference between the two colors. Seeing these two colors side by side it’s clear that Pewter Green is the darker color. The undertones are nearly the same and both colors are muted. If you want something just slightly lighter, sample Retreat as well as Pewter Green.
