Once Upon a Time…
… there was a Valley girl named Brooke Logan who hadn’t even heard of Ridge Forrester (then Ronn Moss), much less obsessed over him. In fact, when The Bold and the Beautiful debuted, Katherine Kelly Lang’s character was engaged to a cop named Dave Reed. But once she crossed paths with the dashing designer at a party that her mom was catering, she became convinced that he was her destiny.
What Are Friends For
For future reference, not this: Despite being pals with ill-fated heiress Caroline Spencer, Brooke wound up scheming to keep her from reuniting with true love Ridge. (Yeah, for a while there, everybody thought that Ridge was their true love; it was a whole thing.)
If You Can’t Be With the One You Love…
… love the one you’re with. Oh, nobody had to tell that to Brooke. During a period in which Ridge was unavailable to her, she married his father Eric and gave her destiny a kid brother (and future nemesis) in Rick.
Geometry 101
After Brooke celebrated her creation of a wrinkle-free fabric called BeLieF by having sex with son-in-law Ridge on the floor of the lab in which it was created, she interrupted his wedding to Taylor Hayes (then Hunter Tylo) to announce that she was having his baby. Well, a baby. It turned out that Bridget was Eric’s, not Ridge’s.
Mixing Business and Pleasure
Dating attorney Connor Davis was a smart move on Brooke’s part, as the attorney helped her parlay BeLieF into 51-percent ownership of Forrester Creations and yet another reason for Eric’s on-again/off-again wife Stephanie to loathe her.
Dead ‘Ringer’
After Taylor was presumed dead in a plane crash, Brooke rejected James Warwick’s proposal in order to finally “manifest destiny” by marrying Ridge in a big, splashy beach ceremony… which was invalidated when her indestructible rival rose from her premature grave.
‘But Getting Married Is My Go-To!’
Seeing Brooke give Grant Chambers a friendly kiss led Ridge to react by retying the knot with Taylor. Not to be outdone, Brooke kinda-sorta did the same thing with Grant. For real, though: These people love weddings like we love brunch.
‘There, There… You’ll Always Be in My Top10’
Despite monster-in-law Stephanie trying to stab Brooke upon learning she’d moved on to her other son, Thorne, the two eventually wed. But once her latest hubby overheard her admit that Ridge would always be her true love, that union was well and truly busted.
She Meant Well, We Guess
Brooke’s attempt to get devious Deacon Sharpe out of Bridget’s life resulted in him winding up in bed with his mother-in-law. Further cementing Stephanie’s nasty nickname for Brooke — you know the one — the tryst led to her giving birth to his daughter, Hope.
A Wedding and a Costume Party in One
Following Brooke and Ridge’s nuptials in South America — well, of course they got married again! — the groom was kidnapped by Sheila Carter, aka the soap’s version of Michael Myers. Thinking that her destiny had died after falling into a furnace, Brooke had grief sex with his half brother, Nick Marone. Needless to say, not only wasn’t Ridge really dead, but Brooke was headed for another round of…
Who’s the Daddy?
Thinking that Nick was R.J.’s father, Brooke and Ridge had their marriage annulled for just long enough for her to almost get hitched to his sibling rival before the truth came out. At that point, she and Ridge engaged in their favorite pastime other than nookie and said “I redo.”
‘But I Want to Arm-Wrestle *Now*!’
When Taylor returned from the dead again —yes, again; she was always dying in air quotes — Stephanie had a heart attack and, as her “final” wish, begged Ridge to reunite with her. Figuring out that the queen bee had faked her ailment — how could she have a heart attack with no heart? —Brooke took Stephanie off “life support” and dared her to die.
‘We’ll All Laugh About This Someday’
After Taylor married Nick and decided to have a baby through IVF, a mix-up in the lab resulted in Brooke’s egg being fertilized and implanted in her mortal enemy. The resulting child, Jack, hasn’t been seen or even referenced in years. Although his comeback would set the stage for some amazing fireworks…
Yay or Neigh?
Brooke and Ridge wed again only to have a clerical error result in their union being declared invalid. Stressed out, the groom popped anxiety pills and “accidentally” slept with Taylor. Before long, he was walking down the aisle with her, only to have Brooke arrive on horseback and interrupt. What happened next? “I do” not think we really need to tell you, do we? It being a day of the week that ended in -day, “Bridge” remarried.
‘Oh, [Bleep]’
Oliver Jones’ face was all of ours when he — and we — realized that while everyone was masked at his virginal girlfriend Hope’s graduation party, he’d mistakenly had sex with Brooke, not her.
What the… ?!?
While stepson Thomas (then Adam Gregory) was crushing on Brooke, the two of them were stranded on an island by a plane crash. Desperately hungry, they consumed the ultimate forbidden fruit —boinkberries, which left Brooke unsure whether all they’d done before being rescued was frolic in the surf.
Why Can’t We Be Friends?
Over the years Stephanie’s hatred of Brooke grew and grew as she went from Ridge to Eric to Thorne to…Well, you get the idea. As often as not, their interactions looked like this…

But a funny thing happened on Stephanie’s way to the hereafter.
The Best of Enemies
Despite the way she’d usually treated Brooke, Stephanie was forced to admit before dying that… well, she thought of the so-called slu*t From the Valley as a daughter. Aww.
Family Affair
While Brooke’s sister Katie was suffering from the effects of postpartum depression, she pushed husband Bill Spencer to be with the blonde bombshell. In no time, the two of them had gotten Katie the help that she needed. Just kidding. They had fallen in love, reasoning that hey, it would’ve been rude to ignore Katie’s request.
Bride and Wrong
Before Brooke could marry Bill in Abu Dhabi, Ridge arrived to stop the ceremony with pics of the groom in bed with babymama Quinn Fuller. To prevent Ridge and Brooke from flying off together, Bill had henchman Justin Barber dump the dressmaker out of the helicopter.
Just View and Me
Ping-ponging between Bill and Ridge (now Thorsten Kaye), Brooke eventually agreed to elope with her Stallion…until Ridge took her to the beach where they’d wed in 2009 to show her that he’d recreated their legendary heart in the sand. But before they could exchange vows — there’s always a “but,” isn’t there? — she caught him kissing Quinn, who by then had become his latest stepmother. D’oh!
Wait, *What* Happened in Vegas?!?
With an assist from Quinn, Shauna Fulton came between Brooke and Ridge, even arranging for it to look as if he’d had Carter Walton file divorce papers. But the truth about Shauna and Ridge’s quickie nuptials in Sin City came out faster than you or we could lose our money at the blackjack table. And we suck at blackjack.
This Blonde’s Ambition
Somewhere, Stephanie had to be smiling. During a rare period of domestic tranquility with Ridge, Brooke busied herself meddling in father-in-law/ex-husband Eric’s marriage to Quinn and doing her damnedest to banish Deacon from Hope’s life. Oh, and she judged people. A lot. As you can see, she especially liked that part.
Four Play
Remember that period of domestic tranquility that we just mentioned “Bridge” having? It didn’t last. The returns of Brooke’s ex, Deacon, and Ridge’s ex, Taylor (now Krista Allen), brought out the green-eyed monster in the couple — and for good reason: Deacon and Taylor were still as hung up on their old flames as clothes are on a rack!
Yeah, So, Um, Things Got Messy
Though Brooke’s marriage bounced back after she fell off the wagon — thanks for nothin’, Sheila Carter! — and kissed Santa Deacon, Ridge’s wife was painted into a corner by a call that she seemed to have made to report Thomas to Child Protective Services. In its aftermath, Ridge, quickly informed her of why he was upset boomeranged back into Taylor’s arms.
Enough Is Enough
After Thomas’ treachery was revealed and Taylor and Ridge’s insta-reunion, called off, she and Brooke made what may have been the most sensible decision either character has ever made: They swore off their fickle ex for good!
Single…But Not Ready to Mingle
Brooke went so far as to take the unprecedented step of going on a date with Il Giardino’s handsome bartender. But she quickly decided that she’d prefer to chill with Taylor than heat things up with a stranger.
‘Yes, You Can’t Have Me’
In no time, Brooke was back to slipping into something more comfortable before having Ridge over for a platonic evening of checkers and soda. Despite the mixed and remixed messages that she sent, she maintained that his place was in the heretofore-uncharted friend zone.
I Love View
Rather than check to see whether some undiagnosed medical condition had caused Taylor to make another play for Ridge, Brooke declared their pact well and truly over. Then, on a funny-business trip to Rome, she eagerly agreed to be her ex’s Logan once again.
