Cool place! Another couple and my wife and I stayed for 10 days in November. We're avid hikers and had not been to Kauai before. We were not disappointed in the island or the resort! The grounds are exactly what you would want on a Hawaiian island: lots of lush foliage, wandering walkways, and freshwater swimming pools. The only negative here was that there is only one hot spa pool and it is rather small, so when more than 6-7 people are in it, be prepared to rub up against strangers (not the worst thing in the world!).I can't speak for all the units, but we had a two bedroom, top floor suite and it was perfect. Very spacious with 20+ foot high ceilings made it feel like a mansion. The views of the ocean and the golf course were stunning. The kitchen was large enough for two of us to be in there chopping and cooking up a storm. There are also BBQ grills by the pool and a tennis court. The service at the resort itself was very good. I am Wyndham owner and the high pressure sales tactics are always uncomfortable, but what made this slightly more frustrating was that I had a specific issue I needed addressed (to remove someone from the Wyndham deed who has passed away) and they told me they could help me and then couldn't and then proceeded to simply try to sell me more points. It's their job, so I don't fault them for that, but it was unfortunate that they said they help with my issue when they couldn't.Anyway, that may not apply to resort itself and be more of a corporate Wyndham thing.Either way, it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend staying here if you're headed to Kauai!
Lovely place but the room we were at is showing some wear. Lamp shades dirty/stain in the living room. Shower heads need to be replaced and not enough kitchen pans/utensils. The pool was fantastic and the concierge was very helpful! Overall 4/5 stars.
I recently stayed here this month. It is such a perfect location in terms of being quiet and serene. The hotel room was comfortable and perfect for a long term stay. However, when we arrived around 5 pm our room was not ready. We flew to visit and to have our room not ready when check is at 4 pm is just unacceptable. They informed us they would give us a call when it is ready so we went to eat since we couldn’t check in and settle in. A hour and a half pass no call. We ended up going back to front desk at 7 pm and our room still was not ready. If we did not show up at 7 we probably wouldn’t have received a call until 9 pm. They didn’t even start on our room yet. We were extremely tired and irritated. Because we sat there and insisted we need another room just so we can sleep we was offered another room. The housekeeping is just an issue that I am not sure if I would travel to stay here again. It was an inconvenience for us.

Know before you go
- Consider requesting a room away from potential noise sources to ensure a peaceful stay
- If you prefer seclusion, be prepared that this resort may have more people around than expected
- Rent beach equipment on-site for convenience but note that costs can be similar to purchasing your own items at local stores like Costco
- Be aware of additional charges such as $20 per night for air conditioning usage

We stayed here for 5 nights with our 1 year old & 3 year old & had an amazing time! We originally planned for 4 days, but we loved it so much we asked to add another night & they were so accommodating. The two pools are so much fun & the overall landscape/amenities are wonderful. We got a two bed/two bath room & it was huge. We could have easily had another couple/small family stay with us. Having a full kitchen was great. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need. The room even had a cooler we could use to take our lunches on our outings. We loved being up in princeville & will definitely be booking here again next time we make a trip!
Great location with beautiful gardens and service. Rooms are updated, clean and tastefully furnished. Full Kitchen is well equipped with all you need with fine appliances. AC works well! Peaceful feel throughout. Only drawback to this property, in no onsite restaurant. Probably saved us a lot of money tho as we comes in our unit more.
